Care to Share

Irvine Care and Share started in October 2013. It is aimed at adults who are homeless, vulnerable to homelessness or indeed vulnerable people and is run mostly by volunteers.

Service users can enjoy a free light lunch which usually consists of soup, sandwich and tea or coffee. They can share in a supportive, friendly, non-judgemental environment and also gain access to outside agencies such as optician, health checks, housing options and homeless information and Teen Challenge. These can all provide confidential support and advice.

Two laptops and printers have recently been acquired with access to the internet. Activities include billiards and stone polishing.

Come along on Wednesdays to find out what’s on offer.
