Morning service from Sunday 5th August led by Mr Andrew Morrison
Text Message – Mark 15:41-16:8
“Surely not! No way! That’s not possible!” Just some of the feelings we get when something shocks and surprises us. And, on that first Easter, when Jesus Christ arose from the dead after been beaten, tortured and crucified on Good Friday, the first visitors to the tomb thought the same thing.
But today, we know that Jesus is alive; the tomb is empty and the angels cry out “He is Risen!” Too good to be true? Or, just plain true?
Morning service from Sunday 22nd July led by Mr Andrew Morrison
Bible Reading – Mark 14:53-15:15
What a horrible few hours! Jesus is accused of all kinds of wrong, despite never sinning even once. Then, his best friend denies even knowing him. Finally, a wicked & evil criminal is released instead of Jesus.
We’re all guilty like these characters we meet in this passage. However, out of his great love, the Innocent Jesus steps into the place of Guilty people like you and me. What great love for us!
Morning service from Sunday 15th July led by Rev Neil Urquhart
Text Message – Mark 10:17-45
Money stops a young man following Jesus & pride prevents Jim & John from following Jesus in service & sacrifice. What might stopp us from seeking & experiencing God’s Glory, Grace & Eternal Goodness? What’s more important than God in your life? What to lay down before God at the cross of Christ to see what Jesus leaves there & what he invites us to take up in loving service? What’s in the way of God’s Glory shining in & through your life?
Morning service from Sunday 8th July led by Rev Neil Urquhart
Text Message – Mark 8:22-38
Like Peter perhaps you think you know what Jesus is all about? Think again, like the blind man who took several touches from Jesus to see clearly, we all need to keep open to Jesus showing us what following him in daily life and living really means!
Morning service from Sunday 1st July led by Mr Andrew Morrison
Text Message – Mark 3:7-35
Families are important and in Mark 3:7-35, we are shown Jesus speaking about a greater family; one that’s not based on genetics, circumstance or ethnicity. Rather, it’s founded upon trusting in Jesus – who welcomes us all to know him and become one of his brothers and sisters. So, do you trust in Jesus as your Saviour? If so, welcome to the greatest ever family!
